I like Piplup because Piplup is the cutest of them all and powerful at its final stage.

I think chimchar is more handy when he grows up. I had a piplup once, and could not get past the elite 4 even though he was lvl 77. My infernape now is lvl 74 and hasa beaten the elite 4 3 times.

Personally it's Chimchar for me, I always work best with fire types, and fighting type comes in useful in its final evolution.
